What is a sun in the sky?
To sir Jeff Stonehouse
What is a sun in the sky?
A part of the beginning universe
Shining and burning in the landscape of nowhere
A sun,
Behind the curtain of nature,
Beams of everlasting diffusing lights
A sun,
In the corner of nature
Blowing our souls slowly
For a sun is the son of the universe:
A mirror of the unknown side of inside
A sea
Sighing for something
Blue, and gray, and ungrimy
Outside, the unconscipious
Unconscioussness
Of the unknown:
Waves that seem and that
Indeed, are
Folded in the infinite
Bubbles, flat
Flying, floating in the mauve air
Up, up your spirit
Up in the sky
Quiet,
And warm,
And cleaned
By the breath of the sole substance.
Absolutely infinite, not infinite after its kind
Folded somewhere inside
Through the branches of the mind:
Innocence lost and found again,
A mirror polished, not in vain.
